Tristan Francia’s first short film, in 2004, was selected and shown at ACMI in Melbourne, Australia.
Parallel to such personal projects, he has made about 60 shorts in the form of workshops in partnership with DRAC, Éducation nationale and CNC.
In 2011, his short “La Vache qui tâchait de chercher ses taches” garnered 2 awards and 19 international selections, and was widely shown in movie theaters.
Since 2014, he has been developing series for television and the web. He has been awarded an innovation aid by the CNC for the scripting of his animated series “Plus tard je serai”.
2016/2018, he received the Best Pilot Award at the Berlin Webfest and an official selection at the Luchon Television Creation Festival and MIPTV of Cannes for the series “Big G”.
Since the season 2017/2018, he is one of the director of the reports of the show “9:50 am – Occitanie” on France Televisions and made more of 150 reports.
